Time Traveller headpiece for The Hurrier

The Time Traveller headpiece - I researched the Welcome Museum's collection for scolds bridles; old documentary coal board film for working conditions for women working in the mines, and 1924 Soviet film Aelita Queen of Mars for reference to make this time head piece with antennae for communication for Anne Robinson's improvised performance film the Hurrier . Ideas were discussed over zoom due to covid and artist film maker Anne Robinson created a collaborative environment to share and develop ideas with performers, makers and for music as part of the process Ideas explored considered the constrictions and restrictions placed on working women and their personal strategies for liberation. I looked at the silencing and oppression of working women, space/time travellers and long distance communication during the making process.
