Uplift #5

Using curved tube as a means of connection and as an aid to achieve dynamic balance, this static sculpture speaks of movement and change. A switch in viewpoints alters relationships; as arcs, lines and planes intersect, shifting negative spaces appear and new patterns of light and shadow emerge. Made from brass, aluminium and stainless steel the sculpture can be positioned in different ways.
