Vessel was commissioned by the Thackray Museum of Medicine as part of a larger research project with the University of Leeds. Vessel is the center piece for the exhibition 'Blood: Ties and Tensions' February to June 2025. Inspired by the flow of blood through veins it reminds us of the fragile balance of existence and connections. The wider exhibition looks at barriers to blood donation and connections globally.
