Fourteen cast iron panels with raised lettering form a decorative cladding to the parapet of a railway bridge in Church Street, Bilston. The text is derived from recorded conversations from a local oral history project. Participants were asked to reflect on their lives and the recent history of Bilston, West Midlands, and the ending of an era with the closing down of Bilston's steel works in the early 1980's.
