You Rascal

Exploring the paradoxical magnetism within the disgusting and the cognitive dissonance created by this, the work utilises this emotion. In the video 'You Rascal' we see the tension of the repulsive eased by the formal simplicity of the black and white moving image and the playful music. Humourously coupled with the lighthearted song, 'You Rascal You' (1932) by The Mills Brothers, the slugs take on a dance-like synchronisation of their own. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXDXrARtsFg&feature=share
