The Axis Art Film Festival

The 2025 edition brings together over 30 short films by artists from across the UK and beyond, giving voice to those who challenge, explore and offer new ways of seeing.

You can expect thought-provoking work, meaningful conversations and a chance to experience film wherever you are.

The festival runs from 8–14 September, with seven themed events hosted live online by Lucy Wright. Each screening lasts around 90 minutes and includes a Q&A with selected artists and filmmakers. 

All events are available to watch on demand for 14 days in the Axis Community.
