Kirstin Leigh

Norwich
Using practice as a means of research the work is neither 'one' nor the 'other'.

Skating on the limits of expression and a known vocabulary, material is used to (re)discover the restrictions within language, and (re)define their place in materiality. Materiality, much like the feminine sexuality, is fluid. Teetering along the edge of definition, negotiating the parameters of anxiety, and constantly shifting in the ebb and flow of voice.
