Angela Davies is an Interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, installation, performance, moving image and sound based works.

Angela Davies, is a north Wales based artist. Her work negotiates support systems and the fragile networks they carry. Spanning scale and processes, Davies is often drawn to using organic materials to explore ideas of transformation. She works across drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video and performance. Speculating upon processes embodied in nature to help us understand our human experience.

Davies completed her Masters with Distinction at Manchester School of Art (2013) and subsequently co-founded StudioMADE a cross-disciplinary studio within Wales. Her work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions such as Glynn Vivian, Swansea, S12 Galleri Bergen, Norway, V2 Lab for the Unstable Media, Netherlands, Pontio, Bangor and Meno Parkas Galerija, Kaunas, Lithuania.

In 2022 Angela was awarded a Future Wales Fellowship - one of 8 artists across Wales selected to engage in one of the Climate emergency themes in a distinct programme delivered by ACW and Natural Resources Wales. Selected awards include Arts Council of Wales Creative Wales Award (2018/19), ESRC Impact Accelerator Account at Bangor University (2018), Innovate UK (2017) for Light Choreographies, A-N Time & Space Bursary and New Collaborations Bursary for participation in ISEA14.
