Gill Forsbrook

Norwich
Maker of things.

I am a maker of things, some of which are wearable.

For me the starting point is making; the exploration of materials and process, the consideration of form and space, the effects of colour and light, the juxtaposition of lines and planes and the resulting dynamic relationships.

Making is a leap of faith, the belief in the pursuing of an idea, in movement and change, in the as yet unseen potential of things.

Making is trusting in the life affirming possibility of change
and of a thing,
new,
brought into being.
