Marilyn Rathbone

Worthing, West Sussex
My work is pared down, meticulous attention to detail is paramount, each piece resolved according to its own logic.

My work is minimalist, a unique combination of research, art/textiles and box-making. Sometimes, my research uncovers an underlying political, social or historical issue and, when it does, the issue may become the focus of the piece. At other times, humour plays a part. Of late there has been a fascination with Pi. My goal is to blend concept and content as simply as possible.
