Big Hairy Licker

By Marianne Walker 2020
Ink on sculpted paper-clay 2020. This drawing is an exercise in learning how to draw hair. The form of the tongue gives the drawing the opportunity to exist and extend across space. The surface of the paper-clay has been burnished to an ivory like shine and the black ink drawing covers the top of the tongue and extends down the sides.
