"Bracken Frond Dress".

By  Tim Pugh 2018
The temporary artwork was created on a forest floor at Hawarden Woods ,Flintshire in October 2018. I placed down a plastic coat hanger as a starting point and constructed a wedding dress made from locally sourced bracken fronds. The varying colours from the dying leaves gave me scope to blend in the various hues and textures. The choice of a wedding dress signifies a celebration of Autumn rather than any matrimonial vows and was completed and photographed before the onset of late afternoon breezes gently blew away the fronds.
