Project - Identity Title - Comfy
This sculpture was inspired by the latest fashion in paving every inch of a front garden to keep it clean and tidy. This does not allow for the water run-off to soak into the ground, instead, it runs off into a drain and possibly at times, into an overflowing river. To allow for the water run-off, create a border, which could be filled in with shingle. Medium A metal tree hoop was adapted to make a sprung bed for the nest of plastic red tubes that connect to each of the holes of the ceramic seed head and represents the innards of some plant stems. The plinth was made of paving bricks and gravel. Dimension 30 cm h 1m w x 1m
