Detritus

By  Adam Grose 2018
This image comprises of pulped slavery documents, financial records and recycled material mixed with gesso chalk. The premise explores how a future culture might look back upon ours when they come across one of our 'rubbish' tips and the archeaologists begin to un-pack our civilisation and the materials we have left behind. Like those of our ancient past and the objects they had originally disgarded, of which we now venerate in our museums. What objects and artefacts will become the objects d' art in our museums of the far future? Layered Pulped Paper 6 x 6cm April 2018
