Hyson Green Market Arch

Sculptural Landmark Archway to Hyson Green Market in Nottingham. Commissioned by Nottingham City Council. Designed working with local community groups, schools and the City Council Markets team the inspiration for the Arch came from the heritage of Hyson Green and the Produce sold on the Market. The Architectural styling of the open segmental pediment in the tympanum was a variation on the architectural styling of the butter cross which the arch stands before.
