Night Park (After Hieronymus)

This painting was started in February 2007, but finally evolved into it's current form. The group of birds was originally based on detail from a painting by Hieronymous Bosch. The scene is now also reminiscent of a night walk in a Parisian Park in midwinter. The trees are drawn in graphite onto an oil painted surface.
