"North Beach Idea Sheet"

The mixed media idea sheet documents ideas for a gallery installation using collected site specific man made materials gathered from the tideline at North Beach in Whitehaven,West Cumbria.I drew out ideas related to maps of the area combined with sketches of ceramic and glass industrial and domestic products washed up on the beach.The drawings took a week to compile and I used pencil,watercolour, and copies of maps to help envisage my ideas.I view drawing as a vital tool in my visual vocabulary to help understand the processes involved in my ideas.
