Passage One A is the modified version of Passages One [2020]. It refers to the liminal spaces of archways and thresholds. It invokes wall paintings in the colonnades of the garden of Julia Felix [Villa di Giulia Felice] in Pompeii and continues a persistent preoccupation with places of passage. It has gained the suggestion of another threshold in 2024. Oil on deep canvas
