I made this ceramic piece from a single slab of White St Thomas fired at 1160C. Once glaze bisque fired, I applied a series of silkscreened transfers onto the slab and further fired at a relatively low heat 1080C. I then applied enamel ceramic colours and gold on to the fused transfers. Quite a lot of holding my breath with each firing and opening of the kiln as the doors opened.
