Planet,Plunder,Profit.

The mixed media artwork was assembled on a flagstone on an abandoned railway station platform at Yeathouse in West Cumbria in May 2023.I chosen this particular location as it provided a strong contrasting backdrop to illustrate and illuminate the message I wished to convey. I used the image of the Earth as a plant pot in which the seeds of capitalism and consumerism have grown into money plants at the expense of the worlds natural resources. I used photocopies ,collage and twigs to visualise the idea.
