Techniques: burning, fabric manipulation, applique, knotting

Part of a body of work exploring human impact on the environment. The piece alludes to deforestation, causing soil erosion and loss of biodiversity due to destruction of habitats. The burning of the bark cloth references the agricultural method of slash and burn.
