"'Socially Aware".

By  Tim Pugh 2020
The temporary installation was created in April 2020,during the height of the Covid outbreak lockdown and was created in a bluebell woodland in Hawarden,Flintshire,North Wales.I discovered an abandoned warning road sign next to a woodland country lane whilst on my daily bike /excercise ride and traced out the inner triangle dimensions.I then sketched out onto the triangle on paper,an ironic image of two trees socially distancing ,suggestive of a woodland road sign scenario .I took back the completed triangle and attached it to the road sign, covering up the original design and thus, created a new road sign.As can be noted, the tree trunks are observing social aware distancing whilst the tree canopies above are flouting the rules!
