A taupe, slender, tube made from a shredded nightdress, woven into a steel wire warp. Supported from the single strap, pulled up on nylon thread, to the ceiling. The hem is nailed to the floor with the unravelled lace trailing round. Squeeze is part of a series of pieces dealing with the construction of feminine garments. Purchased by the Contemporary Art Society Special Collection Scheme on behalf of Nottingham Castle Museum with funds from the Arts Council Lottery, 2003
