Tadcaster Bus Station

Commissioned by Hazel Colquhoun Art Consultant and North Yorkshire Council, this project is currently in planning stages and the artwork is in development. The work will be digitally printed onto optically clear vinyl and affixed to the glazed roof of the Bus Station - part of a wider regeneration of the site. Tadcaster has an intriguing and still dominant brewing heritage and industry with three brewers still working in the town. It has a legacy of farming, brewing and quarrying stone, with which many fine and robust local landmarks have been constructed including Tadcaster Bridge and John Smith's Brewery. I am also delivering a community engagement project alongside the Bus Station Artwork in the form of a large scale photographic work depicting and celebrating the community and architecture of the town.
