"Warning....Shipwrecks ahead!"

The outdoor drawing was sketched onto a beach groyne at St Bees in West Cumbria. I drew out the outline of a famous wreck,the SS Izzaro within a road sign triangle and used iron ore clay sediment to paint out the detail.I used the sediment in the drawing as the ship itself was carrying a cargo of iron ore.The triangle jokingly refers to Shipwrecks ahead and and I liked the idea of creating my own road sign.
