Lizz Tuckerman

Sheffield
I'm interested in working across disciplines and to this end manipulate digital images, transfers, drawings, paintings, projection, video and sound to produce collections of work.

I am a freelance multimedia artist based in Sheffield. I was previously a hands on research scientist working in the field of genetics and reproductive health, and that is probably the reason that I am especially interested in different ways of looking and analysing. My artwork is usually clustered around a central idea and my intention is to include the viewer in a process of both cognitive association and visual recognition. I use a variety of materials and processes such as transparent surfaces, digital manipulation, video, found objects, slide projection, transfer techniques, drawing and painting. Anything that will do the job really.
