Fragility

By  Adam Grose 2024

The painting is comprised of many layers of glimpses seen during walkabouts and wanderings in the Somerset landscape.  The colours, forms and marks are a response to what was seen and experienced during the walk.

The painting has the title of Fragility, as each layer was sanded back, becoming a fragile aspect of its making, as well as a response to the fragile nature of the environment.
