Internal Examination is a small body of work of ceramics that explore non-functional forms and surfaces of defective glazes. Through glaze research and development this exploration of crawl and lava glazes, find the beauty in the difficult. Our bodies become detached from us when we suffer illness, and it's dehumanising which is what this body of work is communicating.
