‘Sleep Aids’ is based on old stories about ways of keeping warm at night: heated bricks placed in beds, and tickling feet with hairbrushes. The bound hot water bottle is based on ancient ideas of babies being swaddled to help maintain body temperature and help them sleep.
Materials: rubber hot water bottle, latex bands, child's hairbrush & London brick.
