Veronica Revuelta Garrido

London
Artist, curator, facilitator. I paint textiles and co-create collectively. Self-taught, working-class. Immigrant in London.

My work begins with making and materiality, rooted in feminist body politics and the poetics of labour.
Over time, I have turned toward textiles, materials close to the body, tender and full of feeling. Fabric holds memory and care. It carries stories of work, daily rituals, and repair. I sew and dye by hand, using textiles, organic matter, and things that grow or decay. These slow actions are acts of attention and resistance. They honour the body, its histories, and the invisible labour woven into every stitch.

My work goes beneath the skin, into emotion, memory, and the social meanings that shape who we are. I ask how we live inside a body, and how that body holds the world. In return, I try to make space for reflection and care.
